QASP-S

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

The QASP-S is primrily focused on supporting individuals with Autism & implementing ABA Interventions .

These professionals often supervise other professionals other paraprofessionals( i.e Registered Behaviour Technician or RBTs)

Coordinate With Other service providers to ensure that ABA programs are delivered effectively

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field (i.e Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavior Analysis, or similar)
  • In some cases, an Associate Degree combined with combined with experience might be considered
  • The Degree program must include coursework in areas such as Autism, Spectrum Disorder, Behavior Analysis and/or ABA Practises.

Ongoing Education & Certification Maintaince

  • After Obtaining the QASP-P Certification, professionals arerequired to paticipate in continuing education in order to stay curent best practices in the field and maintain their certification
